No Budget Scene started a bunch of years ago online as a paid bulletin board for lo-no budget filmmakers to meet, greet, share and contribute to each other's projects. This group is for amateur Long Island filmmakers who strive to make movies, shorts, and documentaries on the DSLR platform. Cinematography, script writing, acting and technical knowledge will all be covered. Beginners with no experience welcome! The only requirement necessary is a desire to participate and learn. Our goal is to educate each other to become better filmmakers, and to hopefully work together to produce some quality projects by the end of the year.
